Spring Rotation Student
The Gunn Lab is excited to welcome Arlene Shaji, a graduate student in the Biochemistry and Structural Biology Program, who is rotating in the lab this spring. During her rotation, Arlene is focused on investigating the interaction between pancreatic triglyceride lipase (PTL) and colipase (CLPS) using biochemical activity assays.
Her project aims to assay how CLPS modulates PTL activity, providing insight into the molecular mechanisms governing lipase regulation. Through her rotation, Arlene is gaining hands-on experience with enzyme activity assays while exploring how protein–protein interactions influence enzymatic function.
